Directions to the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center:

From the South

Dpac

The center is at the corner of East Angela Boulevard and Notre Dame Avenue. Take U.S. 31 north, which becomes Indiana 933, south of the city of South Bend. Stay on Indiana 933 through downtown South Bend to Angela Boulevard. Turn right at Angela, and then turn left at the first stoplight on to Notre Dame Avenue. Take the first right onto Holy Cross Drive; the center is the large building on the right.

From the North

The center is south of the Indiana Toll Road (Interstate 80/90). Exit I-80/90 at Exit 77 and turn right on to Indiana 933. Make a left at Angela Boulevard. Turn left at the first stoplight onto Notre Dame Avenue. Take the first right onto Holy Cross Drive; the center is the large building on the right.

There is a 10-minute parking zone on the north drive of the center for ticket pick-up and patron drop-off. Parking is not permitted in the paved brick area or curbside except in the 10-minute parking zone. You are welcome to drop off passengers before proceeding to a parking lot.

Handicapped & Disabled Parking: There is a lot for our handicapped/disabled patrons next to the center. You need a valid hangtag or license plate. Handicapped spaces are also available in the Stayer Lot, north of the center.

Stayer Lot and Stadium Lot: The Stayer Lot (north of the center), and Stadium Lot (east of the center) are FREE and open to the public weekdays after 5 p.m. and weekends. Parking is restricted during special events; attendants will direct you to available parking.

Visitor Lot: The Visitor Lot is on the east side of the Walsh Architecture building, a short walk from the center. During regular business hours (Monday–Friday, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m.), visitors must buy a permit at the pay station (credit cards only) near the lot entrance. (You don't need a permit outside of regular business hours and on holidays.) Display your permit face up on the driver’s side dashboard, so parking enforcement staff can see it.

Eddy Street Commons: Off-campus parking is available at Eddy Street Commons, directly south. Bring your ticket from the garage and a Performing Arts Center staff member can validate it for you.

Directions to Washington Hall: 

IMPORTANT NOTE: Beginning August 1, 2019 the East entrance will close at 6pm.

Wash Hall

Historic Washington Hall is next to the Main Building (Dome) and the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. Enter through the Main Gate off Notre Dame Avenue (linked below) south of campus, via Angela Blvd. Guards at the Gatehouse will grant access to all Shakespeare guests. 

Parking is available in three parking lots within walking distance of Washington Hall (the A lots, linked below).

Parking is also available in lots next to the Hesburgh Library.

Handicapped parking is available at the Cavanaugh Hall lot next to Washington Hall, and off Sorin Court behind the Main Building. Handicapped patrons can be dropped off and picked up at the traffic circle outside Cavanaugh Hall, next to Washington Hall.

As you walk to the theatre, keep your eye on the Golden Dome; Washington Hall is its neighbor to the east. The entrance to Washington Hall is on the south side of the building.
