OPENING NIGHT CELEBRATION BEGINS AT 6PM
OPENING NIGHT PERFORMANCE FOLLOWS AT 7:30PM
Come celebrate the opening night of King Lear as well as 25 years of the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival by raising a glass with cast and crew, donors, and stalwart audience members from seasons past and present. Stroll around the incredible costume and props displays from years past, enjoying hors d'oeuvres and drinks before the show, as well as decadent desserts afterwards. It will undoubtedly be a night to remember!
King Lear is brought to life by the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival's Professional Company for the very first time, under the direction of Pirronne Yousefzadeh, a director, writer, and educator whose work has been produced by the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Playmakers Repertory Company, the Kennedy Center, and many others.
