A fast-paced and adventurous romp awaits two sets of twins, masters and servants, torn apart from their brothers in a tempestuous shipwreck. When one pair unexpectedly arrives in the adopted town of the other, hilarity and hijinks ensue. The actions of the children may fulfill one parent’s search for his long-lost sons – or be the death of him.
The Comedy of Errors will be performed outdoors by a company of actors drawn from the University of Notre Dame, Saint Mary’s College, and universities from across the nation. These open-air performances are free of charge and make for a dreamy midsummer’s night.
Sponsored by Shakespeare at Notre Dame.
