What opportunities are available for the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival?

We offer a variety of ways to get involved with the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival. Our Core Company provides opportunities for directors, actors, stage managers, and technicians, promising paid experience and training in your distinct area of expertise. 

How do I audition for a show?

We open up an audition form every year to express interest in joining the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival Core Company. For those interested in auditions for the mainstage production, there is more information available on our Audition Page. If you are looking to join as a director or actor for the ShakeScenes and Shakespeare After Hours events, you can contact our office via email at shakes@nd.edu.

What is the time commitment for NDSF?

Rehearsals for the Mainstage Show of the NDSF typically begin in mid/late July and go until opening in mid/late August. A comprehensive rehearsal schedule and packet of helpful information will be provided to those participating in the NDSF Mainstage Show.
