About the Players
EVA BALISTRIERI (Gregory/Juliet/Balthasar) Regional Credits: Sense & Sensibility, Comedy of Errors (Utah Shakespeare Festival); Failure: A Love Story, Macbeth, Comedy of Errors (Illinois Shakespeare Festival); Hamlet (Tennessee Shakespeare Company); As You Like it, Merchant of Venice (Riverside Theatre: In the Park); To Kill A Mockingbird, Pride & Prejudice, The Crucible, Othello, Lombardi, 10 seasons of A Christmas Carol (Milwaukee Repertory Theater); and Love’s Labour’s Lost, The Tempest (Great River Shakespeare Festival). As a teaching artist, Eva has worked with Silver Lake Intermediate School, Oconomowoc High School, First Stage Children’s Theater, and Carroll College Academy. Later this spring she will be assistant directing As You Like It at Bradley University and this summer she will be playing Juliet at Door Shakespeare. JACK DWYER (Sampson/Romeo) Regional credits include Antony and Cleopatra, Much Ado About Nothing, and Elizabeth Rex with Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Hamlet, and The Two Gentlemen of Verona with American Players Theater, Widower’s Houses with ShawChicago, and Salome with Chicago’s Right Brain Project. He is a proud graduate of Kenyon College in the woods of Ohio.
ARTHUR MOSS (Lord Capulet/An Apothecary) is a Wisconsin native with a BA in theatre from the University of Wisconsin and an MFA in acting from Trinity University in Texas. After an apprenticeship at the Dallas Theatre Center, he returned to the Midwest where he had a long career as a theatre professor, most recently at Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa. At Morningside, Moss directed a number of Shakespeare's plays, including A Midsummer Night's Dream, Macbeth, and Twelfth Night. In addition to teaching and directing Moss has performed with a number of regional theaters and was most recently seen in Chicago as Duncan in Polarity Ensemble's production of Macbeth and as Cymbeline in Cymbeline, produced by the Waking Theatre.
JOSE NATERAS (Tybalt/Paris/Lady Capulet) is a Chicago based actor and writer. A graduate of Loyola University Chicago, he's been lucky enough to work with such great theatre companies as Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Montana Shakespeare in the Parks, The Inconvenience, Teatro Vista, Buzz22 Chicago, Drury Lane, to name only a few. Jose has appeared on NBC's Chicago Fire as well as in a number of other independent film and web series projects. Love and gratitude to his family and friends. He is proud to be represented by Gray Talent Group.
BRI SUDIA (Benvolio/Montague/Nurse) makes her home in Chicago where she has worked with the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre (Road Show, Pericles) Steppenwolf Theatre Company (Tribes) and has upcoming projects with Northlight Theatre (Shining Lives) and Door County Shakes (The Tempest, Romeo and Juliet). Regional credits include the Milwaukee Rep, the Arkansas and Texas Shakespeare Festivals and three seasons at the Utah Shakespeare Festival. Bri holds an MFA in Acting from the University of Illinois Urbana – Champaign.
DAN TOOT (Abram/Prince Escalus/Mercutio/Friar Laurence) was last seen in Pericles (Chicago Shakespeare Theatre). Other Chicago credits include: Rose and the Rime (The House Theatre of Chicago), Seascape (Oak Park Festival Theatre), Romeo and Juliet (First Folio), Bang the Drum Slowly, Sherlock Holmes (Raven Theatre), among others. Regional credits include: Henry V, The Recruiting Officer (Montana Shakespeare in the Parks), Noises Off!, A Christmas Carol, Brand:NEW (The Hartford Stage), Factory Girls (Goodspeed Musicals), The Tempest (Capital Classics) and a couple seasons with Monomoy Theatre in Cape Code, MA. He received his BFA in acting from The Hartt School, and is a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy.
