Volunteers are essential to the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival and we welcome your creative energy. Volunteers work on a variety of projects supporting every aspect of our company. These projects include:
NDSF creates and produces several special events throughout the year and especially during the summer months. These events include opening night receptions, lectures, fundraisers and special presentations within the community. Volunteer activities include preparing and serving refreshments, greeting guests, passing out information to the public, and much more. Individuals who enjoy working with the public are best suited for these activities. Events usually take place evenings and weekends.
We will never refuse an extra pair of hands! Projects include assisting with mailings, hand-addressing special invitations, entering data into our computers and a variety of other office activities. You may enjoy working side by side with our staff or with our guest artists, members of our Young Company or with participants in ShakeScenes. Regular volunteers form a lasting relationship with our company and soon become part of the NDSF family.
NDSF is committed to providing opportunities and events for our neighbors. Would you like to bring us into your community, company or organization? Volunteer as a Community Ambassador and work with us to create programs especially for your school, church or arts group. There is no end to the number of bridges we can build together!
